Daintree Kennels is an established, registered CKC kennel located south of Revelstoke BC. Daintree is home to seven happy, healthy Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers aged 9 months to 16 years. The dogs live in our home, located on four wooded acres complete with a swimming hole, in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains. They are fed a premium raw meat diet, sleep on our furniture and love to go for rides in the truck, which usually end up at the beach, the wooded trails, my dog-friendly office or Nana and Papa's house located on Arrow Lake.
While I don't spend a lot of time and fuss showing my dogs, they do receive regular socialization at my workplace and the local nursing home. All breeding stock is health checked.
Health clearances include an ophthalmological exam and CERF, DNA testing for PRA, CEA, as well as passing health clearances for cardiac, knees, elbows, and hips. Puppies come vet-checked and with a health warranty.
Visitors welcome, and for those who can't make it to BC, our pups are well documented on our website, facebook page and instagram account. Watch the litter from birth until pick-up day.

Applicants are fully screened and our pups are only sold to the very best homes we can find. Deposit of $500 secures successful applicants' place on the waiting list.
Delivery to Calgary and Vancouver and points in between available for an extra charge.
The Italian litter is by Topaz out of Rhys with 3 females and 6 males.
The Japanese litter is by Denim out of Tiffany with 4 males and 4 females. There are still 9 puppies available to take home during the beginning of January.

PUPS HAVE BEEN PLACED-  
 Our goal as breeders is to produce dogs that are loving, wonderful companions and family members and are able to compete in any venue. We selectively breed one to two litters a year and strive to produce healthy dogs that adhere to the breed standard. Prior to breeding, all of our dogs are OFA certified hips, elbows and patellas, eyes cleared yearly by a board certified ophthalmologist and heart cleared a by board-certified cardiologist.

PUPS HAVE BEEN PLACED- 

This is Bling's (GRCH Gulfbreeze Rosdy Disco Duck RN) first litter.  Bling is a grandchampion and has an obedience title.  Apache (CH  HR Redleaf's Acache at Cinnstar CD SH WCX) is a champion with a senior hunter title, obedience title and a working certificate first litter.  Bling is nice size  girl standing 18 inches and weighing in at 38 pounds.  She is a nice flashy girl with a beautiful front, a pleasing head piece and wonderful movement. She is as sweet as can and loves everyone. Apache is a good size toller standing 19 1/2 inches and weighing in at 48 pounds. He has nice angulation and a good strong topline.  His movement is true coming, going and side.  At the the 2006 NSDTRC USA Nationals Apache was Winners Dog and Best of Winners, he then went on  to finish his AKC championship with two more four point majors.  Apache is is a hard driving retriever that is exciting to work in the field.

I used Apache with one of my girls last year a and I was very pleased with the puppies.  I'm hoping the combination of Bling and Apache will yield a litter of talented and beautiful pups and would welcome inquires from show, performance and active companion homes.

For sale to approved home.  HR UH CD Sagewood's Stone Cold Sober.   3 year old Male intact Toller  Born 07-17-10.   Stone is fully house trained and a very nice boy.  He is AKC and UKC registered.  He is a very nice boy.   Stone has excellent obedience and extremely steady line manners.  He will make someone a wonderful companion or competition dog.  He can do what ever you want him to do.

 He lives in a competition hunt test home where we are focusing on Grand Hunt Tests with some of our other dogs.  He just isn't getting the time he deserves.

He would be a great dog for a family!   He needs to live inside and be with people who love him,  this is where he succeeds! 

Clearances that are already done are:  Hips Excellent, elbows normal, Thyroid normal, PRA/CEA clear, Cardiology Normal, Canine Eye Registration normal. 

As stated above he has his AKC Companion Dog title.  He also has his UKC Upland hunter and Hunting Retriever titles.  He is extremely smart and talented and loves attention.
